Chicken Eggs
Our eggs are currently available for delivery, direct from our farm, from the Fieldstone CSA, and from Sykes Dairy farm in Mebane!
How They Work
We grow heirloom chickens out on the pasture - they spend the majority of their life within a foot of an insect or blade of grass, and this shows in their eggs. Every egg we get out of their boxes is well-shaped, with a healthy white and a bright orange yolk, courtesy of the local grass and grasshoppers.
To stay safe from the local chicken eaters, the flock lives in 3 Hen Wagons, tow-behind wagons that we drive in in slow circles around each of our pastures, fertilizing as they go.
